Following my previous update on this report I am writing, today I submitted the first draft for review.

It stands at 2,880 words long without the bibliography (but now with a conclusion) and includes:

  • Five detailed case studies, each with several different sources to validate the user-centred design nature of each
  • Introduction featuring the definition of ‘user-centred design’ from two different sources, one from the Interaction Design Foundation and the other from the Nielsen Norman Group, who have a professional-grade heuristics measurement that defines ‘user-centred design’.
  • A conclusion has now been written, though it is fairly sparse and doesn’t really reflect too much on the piece.

I have mentioned what each agency does when introducing the case study.

Feedback for the report should be received next week and hopefully any changes that come as a result of feedback can be worked on soon as to not interfere with the upcoming Year 2 project work.
